Electronic music producer Marshmello and british alternative rock band Bastille have joined forces together in their 2018 single and music video “Happier.” The collaboration between these two came as a shock to everyone, seeing as though both come from two wildly different musical spaces.
Marshmello first gained international recognition by remixing songs in early 2016. The producer calls himself by Marshmello because its a misspelling of marshmallow. He also wears a custom helmet loosely based on a marshmallows for public appearances. For years he never showed his identity but social media detectives and Forbes discovered that his real name was Chris Comstock.
The track “Happier” is probably one of Mello’s most talked about songs due to the hidden story behind it. However, the music video “Happier” showcases all the artists in a different light and the music video has a lot of hidden messages throughout the video showcasing to fans another side of them.
