Its likely, Microsoft was doing a great job when they started releasing xbox only games on PC and Phil Spencer himself said that he thinks in having more choices on PC since they will be releasing the master chief collection on both the Microsoft shop and Steam, together with games such as Gears 5 along with the PSO2 Meseta for sale Age of Empire games. So based on this, its likely they will launch it on both shops, as Steam is incredibly popular full of many users, so that they stand to have alot of these into PSO2 for Phantasy Star Online 2 traction.
PSO2 is possibly. Runs great even on potato computer's. Easy to get good/high fps. Game does not go above 2 gb of ram frequently either (if at all). The images, while dated, still looks quite good especially with the customization options.Having both would be great. But we both know that happens. Game devs will focus on images or functionality. Let Phantasy Star Online 2 meet the min. Graphic requirement concentrate on performance. 720p HD is fine in my personal opinion.
Why would they release it for Xbox? They'd save yourself a lot of money just using the JP model for PS4 and making NA servers. They would simply need to translate it. And with people on PS4, they'd have a player base that is bigger. Microsoft being the NA publisher might have something to do with that. Would make sense they'd need it to be over PS4 on Xbox 1. Sony is prominent in the west as it's in Japan.
Man, I'm likely to be salty af if PS4 doesn't get this in the West since I do not have an XBOX and I'm not positive whether my laptop can run it. I play with FFXIV on PS4 and would really like to have PSO2 as well. Nicely XBOX and PS4 never allow crossplay and here they are with PC and XBOX getting crossplay. Maybe even the Switch too.I used to play on a fairly bad laptop that was fairly dated and bought at Walmart (no offense to Walmart naturally ) and it ran good with hardly any troubles. So maybe there's hope? Used to run it. And when anyone is unsure, there is a particular build of PSO2 designed to benchmark and test your system. No login or other added steps required besides download, install.
Here is an interesting question I do not think anyone's asking. Why 2020? Granted it's not that far off and it supposedly been working on localizing it for decades so it's got to be at least mostly in English. Why the wait? Personally, I think it's because they are likely to change the way which money can be spent by you in Phantasy Star Online 2 kind of from the bottom up. I don't know for sure but I think it's smart on their behalf. It's no secret that the West is going to have a stand on anything microtransaction related it would be best for them to get in front of the curve.I find it improbable that it might take a year to allow them to modify their own monetization model. The realistic reason is most likely that it's not done being and using a new course being declared in the end of the season they might want to synch the launching with that course, or possibly the end of episode 6, so Phantasy Star Online 2 does not come out halfway through an event, assuming it's going to be current.
I ground out heaps of amazing stuff and obtained several courses to 200 in Phantasy Star Online 2cube version of PSO. I invested a great deal of money (to me, $300-ish) on PSO2 earlier I had been account-level banned with a US IP to play Phantasy Star Online 2 that I had dreamed of playing with my friends - everybody bought a Vita for get ready to playwith. And then that didn't happen. The only real way I was ready to play again is if it came to some relevant console, as I am poor AF now. And because they chose not to cheap meseta pso2, my pals and I are hitting a hard"pass" button that we did not want to press.
