I believe that is kind of the angle when looking at it to take

  • I believe that is kind of the angle when looking at it to take. I don't disagree with your judgment, paid revs and coverage in general should be looked at, but I don't believe the massive scale inflation standpoint is really here. As long as the RS gold Revs are currently perishing if a PKer gets the loot or the PvMer it is irrelevant, the identical sum of money would be recovered to the system no matter. Sure your personal gp/h will probably be reduced if you're getting murdered compared to paying for security, but the over-all gp being pushed into RuneScape will probably remain unchanged as long as they are still"popular" content. The only method that could change is if people stop killing revs.

Now there is a difference between farming revs skulled versus unskulled. Skulled they are about 20% greater with regard to GP/h. So it could be argued that more people are farming revs while skulled to it becoming safer due. Its still not hot to perform just even with protection you can still die. If you discover some videos of those who have paid for this protection they all have issues with getting PKed while skulled.

You're also saying that this system is balanced out using duel stadium taxes. Those are 0.25% for bets below 10m, 0.5percent for bets under 100m, and 1 percent for bets 100m and over. If we assume staking numbers are somewhat evenly divided throughout that range and that the number people stake increases with inflation, that would imply we have a tax which gets more severe as inflation increases. Therefore, if the duel arena is the huge money removal motor it should be self stabilizing. It will cease, instead of running away 19, where there will be a burst of inflation and then. This is pretty much what we see if new content injects a lot of gp into RuneScape.

The first being their drop tables. Revs drop a large number of skilling resources and commonly inject large amounts of noted coal, adamant/rune bars or ore, manta rays, yew/magic logs, and tiling boards. Sometimes you can collect from revs than you can using the ability that's meant while getting plenty of other drops in the 32, to provide it. I think without really having a fantastic reason to do so, this devalues a lot of abilities. While I don't have any issue with critters dropping some ability based resources it's just too extreme here. I think that it actually needs to be reconsidered just how much of the drop dining table is in the form of alchables/emblems.

Many"high value" pvm monsters actually drop items that on the whole have an extremely low alch value. Look at some of the cash making PvM content like Cerb, Godwars, Zulrah, Vorkath, Barrows, and Demonics and think about what you'd really be left with if you had to alch all their drops. It would be a sad state of affairs although you may still make some money. The comparison concerning alchables are rune dragons that are buy RuneScape gold secured behind a grandmaster pursuit and have a good deal of supplies to battle with each kill. The wiki puts them at about 1.5m/h. Than pickpocketing master farmers, which is 350k greater. Nothing in RuneScape drops straight alchables at the rate revs do.
