Patch 2. 0. 1 added significant quality-of-life improvements for all players Diablo 2 Resurrected Items, regardless of whether they planned to get Diablo: Reaper of Souls. Paragon leveling was integrated between characters. The difficulty was overhauled and monsters were able to grow in proportion to your level. Levels of difficulty were put in with new Normal, Hard, Expert, and Master in addition to various levels of torture.
The Torment mod would bring higher rewards and was designed to allow players who are in the endgame to improve their skills, and to find more valuable loot. This patch also improved to make crafting simpler and also introduced a short-term increase in experience called Pools of Reflection.
