In contrast to being one continuous combat, RuneScape is a painstaking conflict of RS Gold attrition, which is very long and tiring, and never ends. However, it's satisfying if you're willing to devote the time to it, as I was. At the very least, for a whole one or two years.
I've never played any MMORPGs sincethen, to my everlasting loss and shame. The demands of real life are immense and I just don't have time to allow them to seduce me. As with all games it is the most tedious, with numerous levels to conquer and items to find. Some have even died as a result of hours-long binge sessions of RuneScape's older but more loved sibling, World of Warcraft that could also make it the most terrifying game.
Nowadays, you'll most of the time, I'm playing Quake as well as Half-Life or playing Team Fortress 2 - games that are a force to behold leave a mark and fade quickly. It's great to be able to play games that you enjoy, and then go on to forget about it quickly, rather than having to worry about how many pieces of wood I have in my inventory , or what I'll be fishing during tomorrow's session.
It's true that I do miss some of the endless grind and the long-term involvement (and pain) that comes with RuneScape. It's now in its third version called 'RuneScape3' (from 2013) with new content and a graphic overhaul, there's a glimmer of hope that I'll revisit it just to check how it's going, much as I would an old friend.
Publisher Jagex revealed earlier this year that RuneScape will be released from early access on cheap osrs accounts mobile this summer. Today, anyone will be able to play an ongoing MMORPG for free on iOS and Android.
