I've not played any MMORPGs since

  • While these activities may be mildly therapeutic, it's time spending doing the same thing repeated over and Buy RS Gold over again - time that could or might not be better spent playing around with some shorter but none the less classic video games.

As opposed to being a straight combat, RuneScape is a painstaking battle of attrition that's extremely long and exhausting, and that never really ends. It can also be satisfying if you're willing to commit the effort to it, which is what I did. At the very least, for a whole one or two years.

I've not played any MMORPGs since, to my ongoing shame and sadness. The demands of real life are immense and I just don't have time to let them suck me in. As with all games they're the most demanding, with many levels to be completed and items to gather. Heck, people have died as a result of lengthy sessions of RuneScape's less popular but popular sibling World of Warcraft, which could also make it the most terrifying game.

Nowadays, you'll often find me in Quake and Half-Life or playing Team Fortress 2 - games which are in full force make a mark on me and disappear fast. It's a pleasure to play something I like and let go of fairly quickly, instead of having to think about how many logs of wood are in my possession or where I'm going to be fishing next week.

However, I'm still missing a bit of the grind that never ends as well as the long-term commitment (and frustration) that comes with RuneScape. In its third edition as 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with more content and a visual update, there's a glimmer of osrs staking account for sale hope I may revisit it just to check how it's getting on, the same way I would an old friend.
