The two RPG versions will include many of the most well-known characters from RuneScape and places, allowing groups of five or more players to take on classic quests in RuneScape as well as bring adventure within Gielinor to life. In an interview, a variety of Jagex employees discussed the possibility of transforming Runescape's mobile game into an open-platform version and in September, the game was launched.
