Diablo Immortal, The Quarry, and Sonic Origins are all set to release in June 2022, along with a host of other titles arriving over the course of the month. The summer holidays are nearly over, but if you're looking for a new title to settle down with once the monsoon season arrives, there's a lot to pick across a variety of genres. Football enthusiasts can pick up Mario Strikers: Battle League next week, a five-versus-five game with a few “game changing” tweaks. Hack-and-slash action role-playing game (RPG) fans can look forward to Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on the Nintendo Switch.
A new entry in the long-running series is also coming to the Nintendo Switch, with the latest Fire Emblem game arriving on the console next month. The only downside of this latest release is that it'll be a bit late for those who need to get it for Christmas.
While we're not quite sure what's going to be included in Pokémon Sword and Shield, we know that there will be a new Pokémon, and that it's a legendary Pokémon. This information comes from an interview with Game Freak director Shigeru Ohmori, who revealed more details about the upcoming game during a recent interview with Japanese site 4Gamer.
The most notable thing to come out of this interview is that, in addition to another legendary Pokémon being added to the roster, there will also be a new type of player character as well. While we don't yet know if this will mean characters with different abilities or something else entirely, it's possible that players may have more options when they play through their adventure than they did in previous games.
Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal is the latest entry into Blizzard's legendary action role-playing series, and it's set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch next month. As of right now, there isn't a ton of information available about the game, but we do know that it'll be a Diablo game, and that it'll have co-op multiplayer when you play with others. The only real thing we know is that it will be coming to consoles at some point in 2019.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been one of Nintendo's most popular games over the past year or so, and while we don't yet know what's going to happen with future content updates for this hugely popular title, we do know that there will be more DLC for Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch very soon. We don't yet know exactly what will come out when (though we do expect at least one more expansion), but considering how well-received some of these DLC packs have been on other systems, it's likely that they'll offer a lot more than just new weapons and armor pieces.
Mario Strikers: Battle League
Nintendo and developer Next Level Games partnered up to create Mario Strikers: Battle League, and while it's still not out yet, we can confirm that it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point in 2019. It's a soccer game where you play as some of your favorite Mario characters, and you can play it with friends in local or online multiplayer. There are also a bunch of different modes, including one where you can play as a team from another Nintendo game, Super Smash Bros., which is pretty cool! We'll let you know when more information on this new Nintendo Switch game becomes available.
Nintendo has announced that it'll be releasing a new Zelda game for the Nintendo Switch later this year

The Pokémon Company has announced that there will be new Pokémon games coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019
We don't yet know what form these new Pokémon games will take when they come out later this year on the Nintendo Switch, but we do know that they'll be released by The Pokémon Company. The games will be based on Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal (the first three Pokémon games for the Game Boy) and we'll have more details on these new games when the time comes.
Diablo Immortal is available to download on Google Play and App Store. The PC beta will arrive on Thursday, June 2 at 10am PST / 10:30pm IST. However, the Asia-Pacific region will not get the PC version until June 22.
The game is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
Nintendo has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch Online service will launch on September 18, 2018 in the US. The service will let you play online with friends or against other people, and there'll be free monthly games such as 1-2-Switch. You can also earn points to buy digital games and get discounts on select digital titles and Nintendo eShop cards.
Nintendo has announced that the Nintedo 3DS Virtual Console service will be discontinued on June 28, 2018 in Japan and June 30, 2018 in North America and Europe. The service was a way for people to download retro games from the past through Nintendo's official website without having to own a physical cartridge for them. However, it seems like this is being taken out of rotation so new retro titles can come through the eShop instead.
The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Quest will be available for download on GB WhatsApp on July 15, 2018 for $4.99 / £4.49 / €5.99 / ¥ 499 (CAD). Pokémon Quest follows the same gameplay as Pokémon Go, with you exploring real-world areas to find hidden creatures called Pokémon (the same as in Go). You'll have to work together with your team of three Pokémon to complete missions and catch more than 100 different kinds of Pokémon within a set time limit (it's a free-to-play game).
