Business Email List - How to Build a Big List Fast!

  • Let us speak about how to build a large business email list fast.

    First thing we have to cover is to explore just what list building is.  There are some basics you have to have down before we get started.  Let us just proceed through those quickly.

    What's list building?  List building is really a way that you can get cash into your company or into your bank-account by building up a mailing listing of individuals. 

     These folks join your list

     Afterward you email them on a typical basis

     You either sell them your products or you recommend these products of others

     They get them

     You get cash

    That's virtually what business email list building is.  It is not really a case of just grabbing people and forcing them to have in your list or emailing people who you may not have permission to email.  This is about getting permission from people by their saying Yes, I'd like more details in what it is you can provide.

    If people just land in your website and you are trying to sell your products or an affiliate product, chances are they'll not buy.  However, if you can get them to participate your list, then you're able to email them over a period of days, weeks, or even months, giving them more details about that product so that eventually they'll buy that product and offer you cash.

    When they first land in your website, they don't trust you.  They'll not know who you are.  They'll not know anything about you or your products; but over the span of sending them emails as members of the list that you've, they will quickly trust you.  They will quickly get to know you and your products.  Then they'll buy from you.  That's really what list building is all about.

    What do you really need to build a large list fast?  There are a few elements:

    1. The initial element running a business email list building is you'll need a starving crowd.

    You'll need to get several people who have a specific problem that they're desperate to solve.  There's no point in trying to build a listing and sell products to people if they don't actually want to find a solution, or they don't have money to spend.  You 've got to find a starving crowd.  That's several people that have a specific problem.   They are looking to resolve that problem, and they are willing to pay money and pay you to have the answer to that problem.

    2. Obviously from there follows the very fact that you need to truly have a solution. 

    You could be selling your own products to your list when you get your list, or you may only want to recommend these products of others and sell what are called affiliate products.  Which ever way, business lists for sale you'll need a solution to the problem that individuals in the starving crowd actually have.

    3. You're obviously going to need a website.

    You are likely to need an internet site to place the list opt in form, or what might be called a squeeze page, where you are going to have the name and current email address of visitors.  You obviously need an internet site in order to do that.

    4. The fourth thing that you need is an autoresponder. 

    An autoresponder is a bit of software that does everything for you in terms of business email list building and then managing your list.  Aweber and Get Response are a few autoresponder service providers you may want to take a look at and compare. 

    So you will need:

     A starving crowd, people that are looking something and are willing to pay money to have the answer

     To have a solution ready, or at the least find affiliate products that provide them that solution

     To have a website with the opt in form, or the squeeze page, where you are able to actually get people to participate your list

     An autoresponder.  That's a bit of software that gets people in your list and manages all of the mailings.

    I'm going showing you in this course how you discover and get all these four things and how you add everything up.

    Let us spend a little bit of time though, quickly on this part of an autoresponder and explore just what an autoresponder is and what it does.

    I am certain that you've seen on websites these squeeze pages.  They've a little box here that says, place in your name.  They've a little box here that says, place in your email.  Then they have a little Go button to send your information off and in exchange you often get a bonus.  You click on that and you are placed on that list.

    What happens when you do this is you are joining an autoresponder.  When you yourself have your own list put up you are likely to see that you need an autoresponder that works behind the scenes.

    When people click inside their name and current email address, their current email address adopts a large database.  Imagine something such as for instance a big bucket or drum and this is actually the autoresponder database.  Whenever anybody joins using their current email address, it adopts the autoresponder.  The autoresponder collects dozens of email addresses.

    Another thing that the autoresponder enables you to do is broadcast.  A broadcast is when you mail out to your complete list all at the exact same time.  That is different compared to the sequenced emails that I mentioned before.  Sequenced email is something you add up at once and everybody that joins your list goes through.  It generally does not matter should they join your list today, tomorrow, a few weeks, or next year they are likely to have the sequence list that you add up in advance.

    However, a broadcast is separate.  It fades live.  Say you've had your list put up for six months.  You are able to broadcast to everybody on that list, but when individuals have just joined today, you can still broadcast to them.  They'd only be at sequence one on this list compared to other who may be further into your sequence.
