Season 10: Nighthaven has officially arrived in New World: Aeternum, marking one of the most significant updates since launch. Nighthaven brings a dark new region, a 10-player Isle of Night Raid, and deep progression changes that reshape how players earn gear, power, and coins in New World.
From the new procedural expeditions and extraction system to reworked gear-set bonuses, Umbral Shard v2, and enhanced build loadouts, every activity now matters more than ever. Whether you’re a dedicated grinder or a casual player with just a few hours a day, consistency is the key to staying competitive in Season 10.
Below is the complete daily checklist that will keep your character strong, your wallet full, and your progression steady — all achievable within 1 to 3 hours a day.

Begin every day with your three faction missions, taking about 10–15 minutes. These yield around 60 000 faction tokens, which are vital for multiple reasons:
Two efficient routes are:
This simple routine provides early income, strong gear, and market materials for crafting or trading.
Chest runs remain the most reliable source of end-game gear and upgrade materials. Here’s how to prioritize them:
Mandatory Runs
Solo Friendly
Most Profitable
Optional Routes
Note: The Pools route is essential if you’re planning to raid — the tentacle boss there can drop the legendary Aenite Bow, one of the strongest DPS weapons this season.
Travel to Cutlass Keys and visit the Wishing Well at the southern edge of the map:
This routine saves new world coins and generates extra income with minimal effort.
Under your refining professions (Loom, Smelter, etc.), craft your limited-daily materials such as Phoenixweave, Prismatic Cloth, and Asmodeum.
Each batch nets 500 – 2 500 gold, depending on market fluctuations. Even on low-pop servers, these crafts maintain steady value and help fund repairs and gear upgrades.
Skipping them is literally leaving money on the table.
Veteran players run Mutations daily for a reason:
These are your core PvE power sources — top gear and steady income in one package.
If you still have time, queue for three random expeditions each day. Expect ~1 000 gold per run (again, more for tanks and healers). It’s fast, requires no specific gear, and adds consistent daily income.
Spend five minutes flipping common materials.
Example:
It’s essentially your New World 401k: small daily actions that build long-term wealth.
At the Gypsum Kiln, open your Cache of Golden Matter for 1 500 gold.
You’ll need 20 Gypsum Orbs, which can be earned from Faction Vendors or the Wishing Well.
Then use Gypsum and refined materials to craft:
Craft these daily — they’re in high demand for artifact and weapon upgrades.
For players who avoid PvP but want PvP track rewards, head to Great Cleave. Run the three PvP quests on repeat for XP and tokens in a mostly non-aggressive zone. Most players there farm peacefully — fast progress with minimal risk.
Complete your three daily Arena matches for:
Even though it’s competitive, Arena remains a fast way to build both gear and currency.
Many players are hoarding charms without realizing their temporary value.
Some — like Shirking Heals — currently sell for 7 000 + gold each.
Sell now while demand is sky-high to secure easy profits before supply stabilizes.
