After a necromancer reaches level 25 in the Diablo 4 open beta, they may learn how to summon golems. Each class has a unique set of abilities: necromancers have their Book of the Dead, which enables them to call comrades to battle with them; sorcerers have enchantments; barbarians may switch out their weapons(opens in new tab).
Even though Diablo 4 won't be available in its entirety until June, you still have time to study up on all the factors that might delay leveling before then. For instance, waypoints(opens in new tab) may greatly speed up navigation inside the map. This is what you need to know if you decide to play a necromancer in Diablo 4 and don't want to be trapped trying to figure out how to summon golems.
How to summon golems in Diablo 4 as a necromancer
A task will be added to your quest log's priority quests after your necromancer reaches level 25; to access these, click the second tab at the top of the window. Necromancer: Call of the Underworld is the name of the quest, and you may follow it to locate the place on the map with ease.
You may discover the Shrine of Rathma and an NPC named Maltorius near the Altar of Lilith by traveling to the map marker northwest of Menestad. To go on to the next phase, which requires you to gather 12 Unbroken Bones, speak with Maltorius. Nearby enemies will spawn and drop Diablo IV items made of Unbroken Bone. Return to the altar and talk to Maltorius after you have the necessary 12.
He will now instruct you to find a detestable relic hidden nearby. The screenshot below displays the precise position of the cave entrance. Find the Jar of Souls, which is essentially a big statue, after you've entered the cave, and interact with it. Following that, begin eliminating adversaries to provide it with souls to fuel your golem. You can see how far you've progressed by looking at the progress meter under the task. After you're finished, Maltorius will show up next to the now-full Jar of Souls and ask you to say a few things back.
After the mission is complete, press S to access the Skill Assignment option and summon your just acquired golem. The new golem skill should be at the very bottom; drag it to the appropriate slot to add it to your active skill bar. Your new golem will be immediately summoned as a result, and its active ability instructs it to taunt foes and lessen damage it sustains for six seconds.
