Mas, a pessoa mais conhecida que adotou essa falsa doutrina foi Ellen G. White, a profetisa dos primeiros dias do movimento adventista. Muitas das doutrinas da Igreja Adventista do Sétimo Dia têm suas origens nos livros dessa falsa profetisa. Uma vez que os ensinamentos dela claramente contradizem a Bíblia, devemos a rejeitar totalmente (Gálatas 1:6-10; Deuteronômio 18:20-22).
Apesar das doutrinas humanas que negam a palavra de Cristo, ele continua sendo o mesmo vencedor. Ele está junto ao Pai, onde nós aspiramos chegar: “Portanto, se fostes ressuscitados juntamente com Cristo, buscai as coisas lá do alto, onde Cristo vive, assentado à direita de Deus” (Colossenses 3:1).
