Gusttavo Lima conheceu Veridiana em Ibiza, na Espanha. Na segunda-feira, 13, o casal jantou em um restaurante do Recreio dos Bandeirantes, na Zona Oeste do Rio, e de lá o cantor saiu abraçado a modelo. Procurado pelo EGO, Gusttavo disse que o encontro foi por acaso e negou qualquer envolvimento com ela. "Nada a ver. A conheci no restaurante ontem, mas não tenho nada com ela", afirmou ele.
No entanto, Veridiana não só negou o que Gusttavo disse como exibiu uma troca de mensagens com ele no celular para marcar o encontro."Não entendi por que ele falou que nos encontramos por acaso no restaurante. Ele passou a madrugada inteira de domingo me ligando. Só fiquei com ele duas vezes, a primeira em Ibiza. Ele pirou em mim porque antes eu estava ficando com um ex da ex-namorada dele (Karen Kounrouzan), em Brasília. Ficamos em Ibiza de casalzinho e ontem também. Fomos juntos para o Barra Music e teve um monte de gente que viu. Lá em Ibiza, ele até levou 11 amigos meus no ônibus dele para poder ficar comigo. Não preciso mentir e não quero meu nome envolvido em polêmicas. De maneira alguma eu quero me promover, apenas não quero algo que denigra minha imagem e nem que ele fale que nem sequer me conhecia", disse ela ao EGO.
