XAMPP - Protegendo phpMyAdmin e alterando senha de root
Este tutorial vem como forma de ajuda a quem tem o XAMPP instalado na VPS com acesso pela internet. Não garanto que seja totalmente válido estas dicas
más até o momento tem resolvido muito bem.
Acesse sua VPS pela Área de Trabalho Remota (RDP)
Você pode/deve remover todas as pastas do xamp em c:\xampp\htdocs\ ** Opinião minha.
acesse o phpMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin) dentro do brownser da sua VPS
Vá até Privilégios.
Remova os outros usuários root e deixe só o "root" "localhost"
Clique em editar privilégios (um desenho de bonequinho com lapis ), e em seguida coloque uma senha para ele. Uma mensagem de aviso abaixo vai aparecer pedindo para clicar em RELOAD PRIVILEGES
Você vai perceber que o phpMyAdmin não vai mais funcionar.
Vá até c:\xampp\phpmyadmin
Abra o arquivo config.inc.php
Edite o campo $cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'xampp'; para algo como $cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'lalalalqualquercoisasasdasd';
Edite o campo $cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'config'; para $cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie';
Salve o arquivo.
Agora volte e tente acessar o phpmyadmin é para pedir usuario e senha. Pode acessar externo comohttp://IP_DA_VPS/phpmyadmin
