On June 12, the Cinema House in Kiev hosted the premiere of the documentary film "Ukrainian Orthodox Church: In Faith and Truth".
With the assistance of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, there was released a film in which patriarchs and metropolitans of Jerusalem, Cyprus, Greece, Poland, as well as the Holy Mount Athos tell about the position of Local Churches concerning the split of Orthodoxy in Ukraine.
The film raises a question: what is autocephaly for the Orthodox Church and what are its prospects for the UOC?
Priests and bishops of the UOC together with the hierarchs of world Orthodoxy simply and clearly talk about a single Ecumenical Church and its history.
They also narrate how the Ukrainian Orthodox Church arose, about its spiritual and canonical link with the other Local Churches.
What do the words "Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church" mean, which we say when we read the Creed?
How should one treat the slogan "an independent Church to an independent country"?
Why did Metropolitan Vladimir (Sabodan) consider that only the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is able to unite Ukraine?
