Everyone has a busy life and to do throughout the week, which can often lead to excuses for neglecting one's own health and fitness. This week, we are kicking all excuses to the curb with a great cardio routine that you can do with a curb or stair at home or in your neighborhood.
Each of the 5 exercises should be done for 30 seconds in a quick and controlled manner. At the end of all 5 exercises, rest for up to 1 minute. Aim for three rounds, but feel free to do more if you have time.
Cardio Curb Workout (30 Seconds each exercise):
Step-ups, Right
Step-ups, Left
Bunny hops
Alternating toe taps (single leg)
Snowboarder plyometric squats (one foot on the curb)
Rest 45-60 sec
Repeat 3+ times
If you had any excuses holding you back this week, hopefully this easy and convenient cardio routine eliminated them. This workout can also be done on a step in your house, room, office or even the gym if all the cardio machines are taken and you do not want to wait. Stay focused and positive! Always try to maximize time and minimize excuses.
